
Where it all started.
NightsBridge started with a frantic, last-minute hunt for a honeymoon stay. Searching for accommodation in South Africa meant sending countless email enquiries, with few replies and none in time to help the groom. Neil and Theresa Emerick knew there had to be a better way to book online. So NightsBridge was born.
Understanding the ‘availability problem’.
Neil and Theresa spotted a future trend. Booking sites would need live availability to take real-time bookings. But small guest houses, B&Bs, apartments and hotels could not log in to dozens of sites and update them all, several times a day. They called this ‘solving the availability problem’.


Developing solutions.
Ten years later, just before their tenth anniversary, the same last‑minute scramble popped up. This time they booked online on a smartphone at 21h00 for arrival the next day. Problem solved. If two founders ever built a business to fix their own pain, NightsBridge is the proof.
