We should try, as an industry and country, to keep pushing the message that “We’ll be open for business again, soon”.
Keep suggesting postponements rather than outright cancellations, for as long as you can.
Encourage your guests to think of it as money saved, safely put away for a future vacation.

I trust this email finds you well.
Thank you for the below email received and we are sympathetic towards the outbreak of COVID 19.
However, we will not be able to offer a refund, but we do offer a postponement of up to 12 months from the initial cancellation date.
We will issue guests a voucher for the postponement whereby they can redeem the voucher directly with Reservations within the 12-month period should they wish to travel.
